VERO BEACH MAGAZINEJacob "Jake" Velazquez started playing at three years old and never really stopped, now working across guitar, piano, drums, saxophone, cello, bass, harmonica, ukulele, and keytar. He runs his own studio in South Florida as producer and engineer, and built a national audience the hard way: a run on America's Got Talent, stages on The View, The Steve Harvey Show, CNN, and Good Morning America, and shared bills with Harry Connick Jr. at Hard Rock Live, Sunscreen Film Festival, and Converse HQ.
He's Music Director and a board member of the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, leading the STARS of the Spectrum performance band, a cause close to home as an autism advocate himself. Faith-guided, in the tradition of Colossians 3:23: work like it's for the Lord.
Some of these he built from the ground up. On others he was hired to play. Every credit below says exactly which.

Start to finish: tracking, arrangement, mixing, and mastering under one roof.
Arrangement, instrumentation, and programming built around your song.
Bring your stems, leave with a mix that translates everywhere.
Final polish and loudness, prepped for every streaming platform.
Send your session over and Jake tracks his parts from his own studio, then sends the files back. Priced per instrument.
Worship arrangements, one-off requests, unusual instrumentation, or a budget in mind? Tell Jake what you need and work out a fair price together.
Reviews from past clients will appear here.
For a mix or master, send your stems or your final bounce as WAV files, 24-bit, at whatever sample rate you tracked at. For production work, send whatever you have: a voice memo, a rough demo, a chord chart, or just the idea. Jake has started tracks from all of those.
Anything works: Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or the upload page you get right after paying. If a session is too big for one link, just send it in parts.
Turnaround is listed on each service above and confirmed in writing before work begins. Mastering runs a few days, mixing a week or so, and full production a few weeks depending on the arrangement. If you have a hard deadline, say so up front and Jake will tell you honestly whether it is doable.
Yes. Mixes and masters include revision rounds so the result actually lands where you want it. Most projects settle in one or two passes. Jake would rather get it right than get it done.
Final WAV files, plus MP3s for sharing, and streaming-ready masters. If you need a specific format, alternate versions, instrumentals, or stems for live playback, just ask.
Most of the work is remote and always has been. Files go back and forth, and it makes no difference where you are.
Yes, that is what remote instrument tracking is. Send the session, Jake records his parts in his own studio, and sends the files back ready to drop in. Guitar, bass, keys, drums, and more.
Use Inquire on any service, or the Custom Quote card, and describe the project in plain language. Jake will tell you what the job actually calls for, even if that turns out to be less than you were about to buy.
Send over the details and Jake will get back to you personally with a quote and a timeline.
